Prices start at £145.00

My packages are standard, and are suitable for most editorial needs; however, if necessary, I am open to discuss, and perhaps accommodate a range of other literary requests.

Option 1

Standard: Three Chapters and a Synopsis

Most Publishing Houses and Literary Agents will require this from you as standard prior to any submission of your work. Here, my analysis of the overall quality of your submission will include: a) your writing style, b) plot, characterisation and setting, c) suggestions on structure, pace, and any areas for improvement.

Cost: Editorial report covering three chapters and synopsis: £145.00

Option 2

Full Manuscript

This is a report based on the complete read of your manuscript, with an overall analysis of your writing style, characterisation, plot hierarchy (development), and motif. Here, you will get a close examination of your prose, with critical/creative review of your chances of publication, with feedback offered on suggestions for any improvements.

Cost: Editorial report covering full manuscript: £299.00

Option 3

The Self-Publishing Package / Consultation

This is a detailed line-by-line edit of your manuscript (poetry or script); providing you with a marked (assessed) copy, thus highlighting all editorial changes in your sent word document by email, and a clean copy for your own use.

This cost is £9.50 per 1,000 words, with a minimum of 20,000 words, which also entails a free initial email consultation where we discuss (and note), the correct level of editing needed.

A free offer of advice given on Book Blurb (normally set on the back page), and respected title of your works; book, novella, script or poetry.

For example, a typical novel of 70,000 words would cost £595.00 (with 10% discount added); however, from a professional perspective, should it be noted that it is not ready for a full line-by-line edit when initially assessed, then first, a “structural edit” will be suggested.

I accept email submissions; however, please include postage if you would like your materials returned to you by first class signed for post – that way, your work is guaranteed for next (working day) delivery.
